Preparation: position, cables and opening
Before any digging, confirm the exact motor position per the manufacturer's instructions, the rack line and the power cable route. Mark the foundation opening — with SimpleBase just 40 x 30 cm — and protect nearby paving.
Setting the foundation and pouring concrete
Set the modular foundation at the planned finished height, check level in both directions and pour rapid-setting concrete around it. We recommend a ready-mixed dry mortar (e.g. Cemix Mischnix 25 kg, Baumit NixMix or ORSOfix V F) because it sets fast without mixing sand and cement.
Mounting the motor and final alignment
Once the concrete has cured enough, bolt the motor down with M10 anchor bolts through the planned mounting points. Choose a foundation height of 5–15 cm depending on how much the motor needs raising, then fine-tune alignment with the rack on the motor itself. Finish by connecting power and testing the end positions.
